The members of the ‘Nation’s Girl Group’ are still certified Kapamilyas.
On Tuesday, February 4, ABS-CBN organized a grand contract signing event for the phenomenal Filipina pop group BINI.
Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena were all present for the ceremony, where they affirmed their continued commitment to the ABS-CBN Studios and Star Magic.
Representing the Kapamilya network were executives led by its chairman Mark L. Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes, and head of TV Production and Star Magic Laurenti Dyogi.
Team leader Jhoanna Robles spoke on behalf of the group, “This contract signing is not just a milestone, it’s a promise that palagi naming gagalingan. We will continue working hard and grow as artists.”
Aiah, meanwhile, expressed her gratitude to ABS-CBN for being “the very first ones who believed in us when we were still in our teenage years.”
“To have you guys in this journey of us, we would just like to say thank you Blooms,” Mikha said when they were greeted by their fans through a special video clip.
Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, and Sheena likewise shared their respective messages of thanks, which were dedicated to God, the people around them like their families and staff, and to their fellow BINI members.
The said event marks a new milestone in the career of the phenomenal original Filipino music act, which will celebrate their fourth anniversary this June.
It also comes ahead of their scheduled February 15 concert, where Blooms shall look forward to seeing the 8-member group kick off their ‘BINIverse World Tour’ series at the Philippine Arena.
During the contract signing event, the management also unveiled a slate of more activities lined up for the ‘Nation’s Girl Group.’
Fans will expect the release of their new single titled ‘Blink Twice,’ which is their follow-up to the popular English-language track ‘Cherry On Top’ that was dropped last July 2024, as well as a new extended play (EP).
Moreover, there shall be new BINI merchandise items.
Upcoming events include all-Star games, anniversary fan meet, ‘BINI Run 3,’ a ‘BINI Day,’ and ‘Miniverse’
BINI debuted in 2021 with the song ‘Born To Win,’ and later released songs like ‘Golden Arrow,’ ‘Na Na Na,’ ‘Lagi,’ ‘I Feel Good,’ and ‘Karera.’
In early 2024, they garnered immense popularity, thanks to their successive hit songs ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ which dominated various streaming platforms.
