The award-winning actress is still over the moon about the experience.
In her new Judy Ann’s Kitchen vlog uploaded on Wednesday, January 29, actress-chef-entrepreneur Judy Ann Santos shared what went before and during her participation in Gordon Ramsay’s recent event.
Ramsay was in town for a couple of engagements last week, including a live cook-off between four cooks, which featured Santos and three other personalities — YouTuber Ryan Reyes (popularly known as Ninong Ry), Danica Lucero from Center for Culinary Arts Manila, and Bea Therese Qua of Ramsay’s Bar and Grill branch in Manila.
The actress prepared a black sesame polvoron halo-halo with nata de coco, with coconut milk and evaporated milk for the ice, leche flan, cheese, and jackfruit.
“It’s good… really good. I like that black sesame,” Gordon reacted to Judy Ann’s recipe.
While she received a compliment for the recipe, Juday shared in her vlog that it was not originally her plan to do the said halo-halo.
She recalled, she had to change her plans after being informed that there was already a similar recipe to what she intended to do.
Judy Ann also generously taught viewers how to make the “Gordon-approved” halo-halo, where she also incorporated methods and ingredients that she was not able to add the first time.
Moreover, the star also brought the dish all the way to her Angrydobo restuarant, treating her family, co-workers, and customers with the sweet delight.
Recently, Judy Ann achieved a new milestone in her cooking career, as she finally completed her professional culinary program.
