The long-running action series is entering its third year this February.
During a grand thanksgiving at the ABS-CBN compound on Tuesday, January 28, the cast, led by its main star Coco Martin, of top-rating primetime teleserye ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ graced the event.
There, they were warmly greeted and welcomed by Kapamilya executives, namely Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, and COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, and TV Production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi.
In the said program, the production also formally introduced new cast members, which will enter the story in celebration of the teleserye’s upcoming second anniversary.
Confirmed to be making their way to ‘Batang Quiapo’ are some of the industry’s biggest names and icons like Celia Rodriguez, Dante Rivero, Albert Martinez, Chanda Romero, Michael De Mesa, Juan Rodrigo, Shamaine Buencamino, and Angel Aquino.
Also included in the new chapter are Jake Cuenca, Andrea Brillantes, Paolo Paraiso, Albie Casiño, Gillian Vicencio, and vloggers Alhdrin John Opilac, Ahl Opilac, and Diana Opilac.
Launched in February 2023, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ is the Philippines’ most-watched weekday television program and teleserye.
Recently, it achieved a new record of over 803,000 live concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live for its January 23, 2025 episode.
