The Kapamilya star did not mince her words.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday, January 25, Chie Filomeno responded to a user that tagged her with a photo of former GirlTrends co-member Dawn Chang.
Chang, who was a guest in the One News talk show ‘The Men’s Room,’ recalled an incident in the past.
“Etong si girl nagre-rehearse kami ng dance inagawan ba naman ako ng position sa steps tapos inaway ako, nagpa interview pa ako daw nang away,” Dawn answered after she was asked if she has ever been involved in a fight for with an artist.
She later gave a hint regarding the the personality, adding that the unnamed star has the same initials with showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin.
Chie then quoted the original post and wrote, “Oh bakit nahiya ka pa pangalanan ako, [Dawn Chang]?”, tagging the other’s X account.
“About the rehearsal, that NEVER happened. At alam ng prod sa Showtime yun, actually yung staff sa showtime nagsabi sa akin about this kanina at nagulat din sila. Your mouth is full of lies talaga no,” Filomeno continued her tirade.
“Sige nga bakit ko muna hinila yung buhok? Balik ko sa’yo sinabi mo “Pinagtanggol ko lang sarili ko ah”,” she added.
In a separate status update, Chie shared, “Naka move on na lahat. Tahimik na buhay ko, andoon pa din si ate mo Dawn. 2025 na, tumigil ka na kung hindi mo kaya mag name drop.”
At the moment, Dawn has not yet commented on the matter.
Dawn and Chie were part of the girl group GirlTrends, later known as GT, that was launched on ABS-CBN’s noontime variety program ‘It’s Showtime’ in 2016.
The said group has been inactive since 2020.
