The Pinay food content creator proudly shared her creation online and to the renowned culinary star.
After being challenged by Gordon Ramsay, food content creator Abi Marquez wasted no time in creating a lumpiang beef wellington.
In her social media page, Marquez uploaded a reel of her preparation and even brought the still uncooked spring rolls to Ramsay’s bar and grill restaurant in Pasay City.
There, the Internet’s ‘Lumpia Queen’ met face-to-face with the ‘MasterChef’ judge to have her concoction critiqued.
Bad news, Gordon did not like it. But the good news is, he “f*cking love it,” which delighted Abi.
He described the dish as a “very posh” and “delicious,” and requested the content creator to do more beef wellington lumpia.
To date, the Instagram upload of the now-viral video has garnered over 655,000 likes on the platform.
Gordon also wrote in the replies section, “Still thinking about it! Well done Abi Gx!”
This interaction between the two culinarians came a few days after Gordon’s comment on Abi’s TikTok video garnered the attention of netizens.
Gordon Ramsay is in town for a couple of engagements. He also owns his namesake bar and grill restaurant in Pasay City, which is part of his global chain.

He has also been involved in multiple television productions, the most-notable of them are ‘MasterChef,’ ‘Hell’s Kitchen,’ ‘Kitchen Nightmares,’ and ‘The F Word.’
Meanwhile, Abi Marquez began posting her food videos in 2022, and developed a community on social media, particularly on the video-first platform TikTok where she has amassed more than 3 million followers.
She also bagged the said platform’s ‘Creator of the Year for Food’ and ‘TikTok Philippines Foodie of the Year’ awards in 2023.
In May 2024, she was included in the Media, Marketing, and Advertising category of the ninth edition of Forbes’ ’30 Under 30′ list, which gave the spotlight to 300 young entrepreneurs, leaders, and trailblazers in the region.
Adding to that, Marquez was also handpicked by Tatler Asia to be part of their prestigious Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow list in 2024.
