Gordon Ramsay reacts to ‘Lumpia Queen’ Abi Marquez’s video

The culinary superstar has challenged one of the Philippines’ top food content creators.

In a comment on TikTok, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay dared Abi Marquez, commonly known as the Internet’s ‘Lumpia Queen,’ to make a dish.

In his reply to Marquez’s recent “crab cake lumpia” video, Ramsay wrote: “But can you do it with Beef Wellington?”

The challenge has since received over 89,000 likes, as of writing, with netizens mostly teasing Abi with remarks like “diffcult level: unlocked” and some calling Gordon as the “final boss.”

Through her Facebook page, Abi joked “Gordon Ramsay in Lumpia Wrapper.”

“We freakin’ did it guys! Lumpia world domination! Anong irereply ko? Huhuhu,” she added.

This interaction comes a few days before the scheduled engagement of the internationally-known chef and restauranteur in Manila.
