In a now viral video on social media, staff and crew of Philippine-based fastfood chain Jollibee were seen distributing free food in the USA.

The said meals were handed out to individuals affected by the raging Los Angeles wildfire, which has been wreaking havoc in the past few days.

The reuploaded clip on X, formerly Twitter, has since garnered more than 8.4 million views and over 220,000 likes, as of writing.

Many praised the move, calling it a great source of “Pinoy pride,” while others described the famed ‘ChickenJoy’ fried chicken product as one of, if not the, best.

According to reports, the wildfire dubbed as the Palisades fire, began last Wednesday, January 8, and has caused the destruction of over 5,000 structures and the evacuation of more than 100,000 people in Los Angeles.

At the moment, the cause has not yet been determined by authorities.
