BINI members, Vice Ganda meet during ‘Breadwinner’ screening

It was a surpise encounter to start the new year.

On Wednesday, January 1, members of ‘Nation’s Girl Group’ BINI watched ‘Unkabogable Phenomenal Box-Office Star’ Vice Ganda’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry ‘And The Breadwinner Is’ in Quezon City.

Present inside the moviehouse were Maloi, Jhoanna, Aiah, and Mikha, who were later surpised by Vice herself by the end of the screening.

The ‘It’s Showtime’ host then had a conversation with the P-pop stars that all became emotional after seeing ‘Breadwinner’.

“Very important na mapanood niyo ito kasi ang daming breadwinners ang pinapasaya ninyo,” Vice told them about how the group impacts people with their music.

The group viewing of ‘And The Breadwinner Is’ comes hours after BINI took the stage at the New Year Countdown show organized in Makati City.

During the event, they performed alongside Gary Valenciano, Gloc-9, Bamboo, Marina Summers, and local band Lola Amour.

Later this month, BINI is set to hold their second fun run, dubbed as ‘BINI Run Mun,’ in Muntinlupa City on January 19.

They will then return on stage for the first show of their upcoming ‘BINIverse’ world tour, which will happen at the world’s largest indoor arena, the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, on February 15.

The ‘Nation’s Girl Group’ will also release their new single ‘Blink Twice’ soon.

Composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, BINI debuted in June 2021 with the song ‘Born To Win.’

In early 2024, they garnered immense popularity, thanks to their successive hit songs ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ which was later followed by the English-language track ‘Cherry On Top’ in July.
