A new infotainment show is coming to the Kapuso network.
On Saturday, November 30, GMA’s new weekly educational program will debut on the network’s Saturday morning block.
Titled ‘Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim,’ it will be hosted by Kim Atienza and will be discussing viral videos online, with a layer of factual information added.
Basically, it will be the extended version of his segment in GMA’s flagship primetime newscast “24 Oras,” which is called ‘Kuya Kim, Ano Na?’ and was launched in October 2021.
The new weekly show is also based on the title of Atienza’s previous show on GTV, ‘Dapat Alam Mo,’ which ended its three-year run last October 25.
‘Dami Mong Alam’ also takes over the time slot vacated by the lifestyle talk show ‘Sarap ‘Di Ba?,’ hosted by Carmina Villaroel, Mavy Legazpi, and Cassy Legazpi, that aired its final episode last September.
Due to its launch, GMA’s long-running infotainment program ‘AHA’ with Drew Arellano has reportedly given way and aired its finale episode last Sunday, November 24, after more than 14 years on the air.
Aside from ‘Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim’ and “24 Oras,” Kim Atienza is also seen on the Kapuso network’s weekday pre-noontime variety program ‘TikToclock’ with Pokwang, Jayson Gainza, Herlene Budol, and Faith da Silva.
