The hottest love team of the new generation is back with a digital series.
On Monday, November 25, ‘How To Spot A Red Flag,’ a collaboration between streaming service Viu, ABS-CBN Studios, and production unit Dreamscape Entertainment, was officially released.
Starring this generation’s hottest love team DonBelle, composed pf Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, the two stars will topbill ‘Red Flag’ as Matt and Cha, respectively.
In the trailer released earlier this month, the viewers see Belle’s barista character get mad as she meets Donny’s “charming good boy” role for the first time — only to discover the he is “cheating” on her, which the man denies.
Donny then pursues to “redeem” himself, which later leads them to the path of discovering each other.
‘How To Spot A Red Flag’ is under the direction of Dwein Baltazar and part of the cast are actors Angel Aquino, Christian Vasquez, Mylene Dizon, Benjie Paras, and Jameson Blake.
To promote the series’ launch, the love team appeared together anew during the November 25 edition of ‘TV Patrol’ and its afternoon spin-off ‘TV Patrol Express.’
‘HTSARF’ is the pair’s follow-up project after their successful first primetime teleserye ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ which was hailed as the most-watched program in Netflix for the first half of 2024.
As for ABS-CBN Studios and Viu, it will be the latest collaboration project for the companies — a partnership that began in 2022.
The tie-up between the entities saw the ABS-CBN Studios-produced Filipino adaptation dramas ‘The Broken Marriage Vow,’ ‘Flower of Evil,’ and most recently, ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?’ stream in multiple territories in the continent via Viu.
