“Hiraya manawari, ikaw ang bahaghari…”
Last Friday, November 22, Filipino pop boy group Alamat made their comeback with the release of the official music video for their new single titled ‘Hiraya.’
It marks the return of the six-member team, composed of Tomas, R-ji, Taneo, Alas, Mo, and Jao, since their collaboration with Nik Makino for ‘Ngayong Gabi’ in Coke Studio Philippines.
Aside from the new song, the P-pop band will be staging their sophomore solo concert titled ‘Ragasa’ on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
It follows their successful ‘Dagundong’ concert, which was held at the same venue in December 2023.
Alamat, which originally debuted in 2020, is known for their singles like ‘kbye,’ ‘kasmala,’ ‘Aswang,’ ‘Maharani,’ ‘Gayuma,’ ‘Day and Night,’ and ‘Dagundong,’ among others.
In 2024, they have made multiple projects, such as the single ‘Dayang,’ which is part of their extended play ‘Isapuso,’ last March, and the collaboration single titled ‘Gupit’ with Filipino band The Juans last June.
