It is her first time in the Kapuso version of the show.
On Friday, November 8, Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo appeared and played for the very first time on GMA’s afternoon game show ‘Family Feud’ hosted by Dingdong Dantes.
The said guesting is part of the promotional media tour for the upcoming release of the ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ sequel movie, ‘Hello, Love, Again,’ next Wednesday, November 13.
She led her ‘Team Joy,’ aptly named as her character in the film, where she was joined by director Cathy Garcia-Sampana, Lovely Abella, and Valerie Concepcion.
On the opposite side of the bench is ‘Team Ethan,’ led by her on-screen partner Alden Richards with Joross Gamboa, Jeffrey Tam, and Jameson Blake.
The first round went to Alden’s group, while the next portion was called for Kathryn’s team.
In round 3, ‘Team Joy’ widened their margin against ‘Team Ethan’ at 254 points versus 87 points.
The fourth round then ended with Bernardo’s group triumphantly getting a cumulative score of 482 points, while Richards’ squad remained at the same score.
For the jackpot round, Lovely Abella and Kathryn Bernardo played for the chance of bagging the grand prize of Php 200,000.
Abella, during her turn, delivered strongly as she got 177 points out of the needed 200. To which, Bernardo was contribute 49 points more to ultimately bring home the pot money for her first time in the show.
The guest appearance is one of the many that the ‘Hello, Love, Again’ team has embarked on in recent weeks.
Last Sunday, Alden stepped foot anew on the ‘ASAP’ stage for a performance with Kathryn, while the duo did an exclusive sit-down interview with GMA Integrated News this week.
Kathryn was also in ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ last October 28 for a solo interview.
Meanwhile, this Sunday, November 10, KathDen will be appearing together and this time on GMA’s ‘All-Out Sundays.’
Shot in Canada, ‘Hello, Love, Again’ is the continuation of the story of Joy and Ethan and follows their lives five years after the events of the original movie set in Hong Kong.
It is also the first collaboration between ABS-CBN Studios, Star Cinema, and GMA Pictures.
