The program is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
On November 7, 2004, GMA launched its public affairs show hosted by veteran journalist Jessica Soho.
Titled ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,’ oftentimes shortened to ‘KMJS,’ the weekly program tackles several topics from various spheres, such as politics, entertainment, and human interest.
Since 2013, the show had also been notably doing a yearly Halloween special titled ‘Gabi ng Lagim’ that mostly features horror stories sent in by viewers.
The program was also originally aired every Saturday evening, but was transferred to the Sunday primetime block in 2012.
In pop culture, Jessica Soho’s catchphrases in ‘KMJS’ have also been widely referenced, like “lumipad ang aming team” and “‘di umano.”
