On Thursday, October 31, actress-singer Maris Racal uploaded a short clip on her personal account on X (formerly Twitter).
In the thirty second clip, Racal is seen wearing a familiar look as she made a nod to the music video of the song ‘Paligoy-ligoy’ by fellow actress-singer, Nadine Lustre.
Joining Maris in her Halloween makeover is her ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ and ‘Incognito’ co-star Anthony Jennings, who then channeled Lustre’s former other half in the love team JaDine, James Reid.
“[B]alik muna sa highschool era,” Racal wrote in the caption for the said video before typing a prolonged laughter.
A repost of the said clip over at her personal Instagram page has caught the attention of none other than the birthday girl herself, Nadine Lustre, who left a brief comment in the replies section.
Nadine wrote: “The moves!!!,” followed by a laughing and heart emojis.
So far, the video has garnered a little less than 100,000 likes on Racal’s social media accounts.
‘Paligoy-ligoy’ is one of the official sound tracks of the 2014 film ‘Diary Ng Panget,’ which starred Nadine Lustre and James Reid.
In 2023, the song saw a resurgence after it was used as a background song for a TikTok dance challenge popularized by BINI member Maloi Ricalde.
At one point, Nadine also took on the challenge when she did a collaboration video with veteran screen actress Maricel Soriano.
