Through Proclamation No. 727, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Wednesday, October 30, the holidays for the forthcoming year have been announced.

In 2025, the following days and dates will be observed as regular holidays.

  • Bonifacio Day – November 30 (Sunday)
  • Christmas Day – December 25 (Thursday)

Meanwhile, the four days and dates have been declared as special non-working days.

  • Chinese New Year – January 29 (Wednesday)

  • INC Founding Anniversary – July 27 (Sunday)
  • Ninoy Aquino Day – August 21 (Thursday)

  • Feast of the Immaculate Concepcion of Mary – December 8 (Monday)
  • Christmas Eve – December 24 (Wednesday)
  • Last Day of the Year / New Year’s Eve – December 31 (Wednesday)

For the second consecutive year, the EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary, commemorated every February 25th, has been declared a special working day.

For 2024, its non-declaration as a special non-working day was due to the date falling on a Sunday, and “[there] is minimal socio-economic impact in declaring this day as a special non-working holiday since it coincides with the rest day for most workers and laborers.”

As for the Islamic holidays of Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha, the dates will be based on the Islamic calendar and would be recommended to the President by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMP).
