From fairways to fashion.
Malbon, a lifestyle brand that fuses fashion with the essence of golf, is set to open their very first shop here in the Philippines.
Not only that, it is said to be the brand’s largest store worldwide right here in the Philippines, the border-up covers a half city-block.
Malbon’s first Philippine store will be at the Shangri-La Fort facing 5th Avenue, right in the heart of the Bonifacio Global City district in Taguig City.
Founded by Stephen and Erica Malbon, it was established in 2017 in Los Angeles, USA. The latter of whom is a Filipina.
The lifestyle brand quickly became a standout in the world of fashion with their mission of revitalizing golf culture by making it more accessible and appealing to a wider and younger audience.
They achieved this by doing streetwear that pays homage to the robust heritage of golf. Additionally, they also have biweekly collection drops and a diverse portfolio of collaborations — ranging from Footjoy to Coca-Cola to Jimmy Choo to Wu Tang Clan.
Malbon also has a community for golfers, athletes, artists, and creatives called the Buckets Club, which offers members unique benefits like early access to product drops, invites to special store events, and participation in golf events which are structured for complete beginners, seasoned golfers, and everyone in-between to join.
TKG Lifestyle, a local group “dedicated to redefining how retail is done in the Philippines,” is behind Malbon’s flagship store.
They are also behind the Manila stores of Gentle Monster and % Arabica, which are located just next door to the upcoming Malbon flagship. The company also owns the fitness facility Pretty Huge.
In the coming weeks, Malbon Philippines will be launching their social media accounts to provide more updates regarding their upcoming store opening in the country.
