K-pop idol Jeong Jaehyun of the boy band NCT is set to drop his new single titled ‘Unconditional,’ which according to his label SM Entertainment, will be released on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 5:00 pm (Manila time).

This will be his first comeback since releasing his first album ‘J’ two months prior.

Aside from the track, Jaehyun will be holding his solo fan-concert ‘Mute’ in Seoul, South Korea on the weekend of October 26 and 27, 2024.

The event will also serve as his send-off event before formally enlisting in the mandatory military service on Monday, November 4.

As per reports, Jaehyun will be part of the Army band and is scheduled to be discharged by May 2026.

SM Entertainment had also previously advised NCTzens that there will be no official send-off program that will be held on the day Jaehyun starts his military service.

Jaehyun made his debut as one of the original members of NCT in 2016 and then became part of the line-up for the group’s fixed sub-unit NCT 127.

127 is known for their songs like ‘Cherry Bomb,’ ‘Touch,’ ‘Kick It,’ ‘Sticker,’ and ‘Favorite (Vampire),’ among others. The sub-unit also recently released their sixrh album ‘Walk’ in July.

In 2023, Jaehyun joined Doyoung and Jungwoo to form the sub-unit NCT DoJaeJung, which is known for their single ‘Perfume.’

In July, he formally debuted as a soloist upon the release of his first solo album titled ‘J,’ consisting of songs like ‘Smoke,’ ‘Roses,’ and ‘Dandelion.’

Aside from doing music, Jaehyun has also been active as an actor, making his debut in the drama scene in 2022 via the series ‘Dear M.’
