The Philippines’ largest content provider ABS-CBN is set to deliver the upcoming coronation night lf the Miss Universe 2024 pageant live to Filipino viewers.
Set to happen at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, the 73rd edition of the beauty pageant will happen on Sunday, November 17, 2024 (Manila time).
ABS-CBN will air the event live via Kapamilya Channel and Metro Channel on pay television, and through A2Z on free-to-air television starting at 9:00 am.
Live streaming of the Miss Universe 2024 pageant will also be made available through iWantTFC in the Philippines.
It will be the fifth time that ABS-CBN has carried the “most beautiful day in the universe” through its platforms since its broadcast shutdown and eventual transformation as a content provider in 2020.
This edition will see the largest delegation in the pageant’s history, with 130 candidates from all over the world competing to become the successor of reigning Nicaraguan queen Sheynnis Palacios.
Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo, who hails from the province of Bulacan, will represent the country and vie for the nation’s fifth crown.
She aims to follow the footsteps of Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
