It’s gonna be a “cosmic” night for Filipino Reveluvs!

On Saturday, September 14, all-female Korean pop group Red Velvet will be finally holding their ongoing fan-concert tour in the Philippines.

Titled ‘Happiness: My Dear, Reveluv,’ the fan-concert tour will see members Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri perform for their Filipino fans at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The fan-con will mark the return to the Philippines of Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy after nine months.

The three members welcomed the New Year in the Philippines when they performed at the countdown event organized by the Taguig City local government unit at the Bonifacio Global City last December 31.

Prior to which, they also brought their previous ‘R to V’ concert tour to Manila in May 2023, although Joy was not able to participate during that leg of the concert series.

Red Velvet made their debut in 2014 with the song ‘Happiness,’ which was later followed by their rendition of the song ‘Be Natural’ of their senior group S.E.S.

In 2015, in time for the release of ‘Ice Cream Cake,’ they formally introduced Yeri as the group’s fifth member.

They went on to drop more hit singles in the following years, such as ‘Dumb Dumb,’ ‘Russian Roulette,’ ‘Rookie,’ ‘Red Flavor,’ ‘Peek-A-Boo,’ ‘Bad Boy,’ ‘Power Up,’ ‘Zimzalabim,’ ‘Umpah Umpah,’ ‘Psycho,’ ‘Queendom,’ ‘Feel My Rhythm,’ and ‘Chill Kill,’ among many others.

In 2020, the group launched the sub-unit Irene and Seulgi, that gave voice to tracks ‘Monster’ and ‘Naughty’.

Members Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy have also made their debut as soloist.

Earlier this year, in June, Red Velvet released ‘Cosmic,’ which carries the namesake title track.
