The singer returned to Manila last weekend.
On Saturday, August 31, Korean singer Kwon Jeong Yeol, popularly known by his stage name 10cm, returned to the Philippines for the staging of the Manila leg of his ongoing ‘Closer To You’ concert tour in Asia.
The soloist’s concert was held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City.
For the concert, 10cm sang some of his well-known singles, such as ‘But It’s Destiny’ from the 2020 series ‘Crash Landing On You’ and ‘Spring Snow’ from ‘Lovely Runner.’
He also shared the stage with Original Filipino Music (OPM) singer TJ Monterde for their duet of the popular local song ‘Palagi.’
‘Closer To You’ marked 10cm’s return to Manila after previously visiting the country to become the surprise act during Monterde’s solo concert in May 2024.
Aside from Manila, the Korean singer’s concert tour will also be brought to Taipei, Jakarta, Hong Kong, and Macau.
After the Saturday concert, another itinerary in 10cm’s trip to the Philippines is his guest appearance in the noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime’ on Monday, September 2.
There he sang ‘Spring Snow’ live on Philippine television and interacted with the hosts of the program.
