Amidst the onslaught of Super Typhoon ‘Carina,’ actor Gerald Anderson braved the floods in Quezon City to be of help to people who were left stranded inside their homes.
In one video, Anderson was seen carrying a child in pink raincoat and helped her and the young girl’s family be brought to safety.
Meanwhile, in other photos and videos that have circulated on social media, the ‘Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition’ alum was seen in other areas of the village to help others evacuate safely.
As soon as pictures of him trended online, some netizens also brought up old pictures of him during Typhoon ‘Ondoy’ in 2009, where he similarly made the heroic act of helping others in need.
Aside from being an actor by profession, Anderson is also well-trained as a Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary member and a reservist of the Philippine Army.
