Last July 1, popular Japanese YouTube music channel The First Take uploaded the first video featuring all five members of SB19.
In the said clip, Stell, Pablo, Ken, Josh, and Justin performed their worldwide trending song ‘Gento,’ which was the lead single of their extended play titled ‘Pagtatag’ released in 2023.
Prior to singing, the members expressed their excitement and nervousness about singing for the first time on the Japanese channel.
Although, they delivered in the said performance video and, to date, it has already drawn more than 2.4 million views.
Two weeks after that, on Monday, July 15, The First Take shared the second video that SB19 recorded in their studio.
In contrast to the hyper atmosphere of the first video, this time, the mood went sentimental as the ‘Kings of P-pop’ sang their 2021 single ‘MAPA.’
More than a day after it was uploaded on YouTube, the new video has been viewed for more than 580,000 times.
The First Take is a channel established by Sony Music Entertainment Japan and uploaded its first video in November 2019.
So far, the account has uploaded 902 videos, a total of more than 4.5 billion views, and 9.88 million subscribers on the video-sharing platform.
