This is also their first comeback sans Taeyong.
On Monday, July 15, NCT sub-unit NCT 127 released their sixth studio album titled ‘Walk,’ which carries the namesake title track as one of the 11 featured songs.
Concurrently, the music video for the carrier single was also dropped the same day, and has ao far garnered almost 2 million views more than 24 hours after it premiered.
This comeback marks the return of member Taeil after recuperating from a vehicular accident in August 2023.
However, it is also NCT 127’s first release without leader Taeyong, who is currently enlisted in South Korea’s mandatory military service.
NCT 127, which was formed in 2016 as a permanent sub-unit of the supergroup NCT, has released over the years songs like ‘Cherry Bomb,’ ‘Regular,’ ‘Kick It,’ ‘Sticker,’ ‘Favorite,’ and ‘2 Baddies’.
In October 2023, they released their latest album ‘Fact Check,’ which includes the namesake title track.
Meanwhile, last January 2024, they visited the Philippines for the staging of their ‘The Unity’ concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan.
