This year’s Superbods 2024 competition is filled with numerous viral moments.
Last Tuesday, July 9, the grand finals night of the ‘Century Tuna Superbods 2024’ competition was held in Pasay City.
The said event was graced by its brand ambassador Kathryn Bernardo, who made waves on social media with her fiery dance performance.
The Kapamilya actress danced to Dua Lipa’s song ‘Training Season’ while wearing red shorts and top.
She even shared a glimpse of her rehearsal for the said performance in an Instagram video.
Meanwhile, actress Marian Rivera, who appeared as judge in this year’s competition, also became a trending topic online, thanks to the amusing encounter with one of the contestants.
During the question-and-answer portion, Rivera asked contestant Jether Palomo on how he would be using the clout the he gained after his ‘Superbods’ journey.
Originally, the Kapuso Primetime Queen quizzed him in Filipino, but the Palomo had politely requested for it to be translated in English instead.
Rivera then said that she will “try her best” and gave an impromptu translation of the question.
The moment drew laughters from the crowd as some netizens even described it as “pulling off a reverse Uno card,” which in this situation, it was the contestant who had placed the judge on the hot seat.
The clip has since garnered more than a million views on X (Twitter).
At the end of the competition, the viral contender Jether Palomo and Justine Felizarta were named grand winners of ‘Superbods 2024,’ while Patrick Patawaran and Jessica Marasigan were named runners-up.
