The Filipina pop group is back with their newest single.
On Thursday, July 11, ‘The Nation’s Girl Group’ Bini dropped the official music video for their new song titled ‘Cherry On Top.’
The nearly 3-minute-long video features members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena.
But lucky those who attended or streamed the recent sold-out three-night ‘Biniverse’ concert at the New Frontier Theater last June, as they have already witnessed Bini perform the full three-minute version of the single prior to its release this evening.
‘Cherry On Top’ is the group’s follow-up to their massive hits ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ which are part of their extended play ‘Talaarawan’ that was released last March 2024.
Aside from the new track, Blooms will surely rejoice with another good news from Bini.
In a ‘TV Patrol’ interview on Thursday, ABS-CBN Music Head Roxy Liquigan confirmed that Bini is working on two separate albums, with one being aimed at and released for the local market and the other for the international scene.
At the moment, songs for the albums are still in the process of being developed.
While waiting for that, Blooms will expect Bini to remain booked-and-busy, as they are still set to hold regional shows as part of their ‘Biniverse’ concert tour.
They will visit Cebu on Sunday, July 14, and General Santos on the following Saturday, July 20.
After which, Bini will fly off to Canada for the North American leg of the series, before returning to Cubao on October 4 for the ‘Grand Biniverse’ concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
The group also reigns supreme in the digital space, as they recently crossed 7 million monthly listeners on music streaming platform Spotify, while their hit single ‘Pantropiko’ achieved 100 million streams on both Spotify and YouTube.
