‘Pantropiko’ becomes first Bini song to reach 100 million streams on Spotify

The summer anthem of the year has hit another milestone.

On Monday, July 8, the latest streaming figures for trending ‘Nation’s Girl Group’ of Filipino pop music or P-pop, BINI, showed that their massive hit song ‘Pantropiko’ has reached 100 million plays on music streaming platform Spotify.

As of press time, the official count on the platform displays 100,493,749, to be exact.

‘Pantropiko’ is BINI’s first song to cross the hundred million mark, but inching closer to that is their another smash hit ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ which has so far garnered almost 87 million streams on Spotify.

The latest achievement comes just two days after their successful first ‘Biniverse’ concert in the regions, which was held in Baguio City last Saturday, July 6.

BINI is also part of the first of the inaugural Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart released last week.

Seven of their songs ranked, specifically ‘Salamin, Salamin’ (#2), ‘Pantropiko’ (#4), ‘Karera’ (#7), ‘Lagi’ (#9), ‘Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi’ (#16), ‘Na Na Na’ (#17), and ‘I Feel Good’ (#66).

This Thursday, July 11, they are also scheduled to drop their newest single titled ‘Cherry On Top,’ which they have already performed during their recent three-day sold-out ‘Biniverse’ concert in Quezon City last June.
