The Mamamoo member is back in the Philippines.
Korean singer Solar of the quartet Mamamoo is in Manila for her first solo concert in the Philippines titled ‘Colours,’ which is set to take place at the Theater at Solaire in Parañaque City on Sunday, June 16, 2024.
The event marks Solar’s return to the Philippines, a year after their successful ‘My Con’ tour in Quezon City in March 2023.
Meanwhile, she is the third member of the group to visit the country this year alone.
Her fellow Mamamoo member Hwasa attended the Wanderland Music Festival 2024 in February, which was followed by Whee In who staged her ‘Whee In The Mood’ solo concert in Quezon City last April.
Solar, along with the rest of Mamamoo, debuted in the Korean music scene in 2014 and is known for their songs like ‘1cm Taller Than You,’ ‘Piano Man,’ ‘You’re The Best,’ ‘Décalcomanie,’ ‘Yes I Am,’ ‘Egotistic,’ ‘gogobebe,’ and ‘Hip,’ among others.
In 2020, Solar made her solo debut and released the single ‘Spit It Out.’
In 2022, along with fellow member Moonbyul, they formed the group’s sub-unit Mamamoo+ and dropped the song ‘Better’ that same year.
