The idol is in Manila to headline his first concert as a soloist in the country.
Hong Kong-born K-pop rapper and performer Lucas Wong is in the Philippines today to hold his ‘FIAT LUX : 熙’ fan-concert on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
The said event, which takes place at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, is part of his ongoing fan-concert tour across Asia this year, which also signifies his official return to the music scene after his long hiatus.
As part of his return to the limelight, Lucas also released last April his first song titled ‘Renegade.’
Wong originally debuted as part of SM’s supergroup NCT in 2018.
He was later included in the Chinese team of the group called WayV in 2019, before joining the line-up of SM’s project male group SuperM that same year.
In 2021, he was figured in a controversy, which resulted to his two-year-long hiatus in the industry.
In the lead-up to his comeback, his agency SM Entertainment announced in May 2023 that Lucas had officially left his former groups NCT and WayV and would debut as a soloist instead.
