‘The Nation’s Girl Group’ BINI once again broke their own records, particularly on social media platform Instagram and music streaming app Spotify.
On Tuesday, June 4, their management label Star Music announced that the group’s official Instagram page with the handle @BINI_ph has surpassed 1 million followers, exactly a week before the P-pop group celebrates their third anniversary since officially debuting in 2021.
Meanwhile, their monthly listenership on Spotify crossed 6 million, the highest for any female P-pop act ever.
The sharp increase in BINI’s streaming numbers is attributed to their viral sensation hits ‘Pantropiko’ and ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ as well as the team’s prior singles like ‘Na Na Na,’ ‘Lagi,’ and ‘I Feel Good,’ among others.
Aside from hitting new milestones, the Filipina pop group is also busy preparing for the upcoming engagements, such as the ‘National Happy BINI Day’ that will happen on June 11 at One Ayala in Makati City and the three-night ‘BINIverse’ concert at the Mew Frontier Theater in Quezon City from June 28 to 30.
They are also set to visit Baguio, Cebu, General Santos, and Canada later this year.
BINI debuted in 2021 and is composed of 8 members, namely Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena.
