He is back in the Philippines.
Thai actor Win Metawin is in the country today, April 1, as part of the promotional activities for his upcoming movie ‘Under Parallel Skies,’ where he co-stars with Filipina actress Janella Salvador.
He first met his fans at the Mall of Asia Cinema in Pasay City at 5:00 pm, before meeting fans at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City for a public meet-and-greet at 7:00 pm.
Tomorrow, April 2, Win is set to make his first-ever guest appearance in ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime,’ where he will he joined by Janella.
Win’s promo events mark his return to the Philippines after his fan meeting in Quezon City last year.
Meanwhile, in the movie ‘Under Parallel Skies,’ he portrays the role of Parin and stars opposite Filipina actress Janella Salvador — who plays the part of Iris.
The film is directed by Sigrid Bernardo, and is a production of 28 Squared Studios and Two Infinity Entertainment.
This is also the first on-screen partnership between Win and Janella, which they shot-on-location in Hong Kong starting in June 2023.
‘Under Parallel Skies’ first premiered at the Asian Film Festival earlier this month, and will hit Philippine theaters on April 17, 2024.
It will then be screened in Singapore on May 1, 2024 and Thailand on May 9, 2024.
