The Kapamilya network’s primetime block is on a roll.
On Thursday, March 7, ABS-CBN’s primetime teleseryes ‘Linlang’ and ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ broke their own records anew.
According to the National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), the hit kabitserye starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino logged a new all-time high viewership ratig of 10.7% on Thursday evening.
The program surpassed its previous 10.5% rating that it posted the night before, on March 6.
Not to be left behind is the Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano-led romatic drama series ‘Can’t Buy Me Love.’
For that evening, ‘CBML’ reached its new all-time high rating of 7.1%, beating its previous 7.0% record last February 23.
Perhaps, the biggest deal for both programs’ success is the fact that ‘Linlang’ and ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ gave ABS-CBN’s highest TV rating post-shutdown on the second and third primetime drama slots, respectively.
The dominance of ABS-CBN on primetime is also driven by the performance of Coco Martin’s action series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ which was the top-rating show overall on television that night at 15.8%.
‘F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers,’ which airs after ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ ended the night with a clean sweep for ABS-CBN after registering 3.0%.
ABS-CBN’s primetime shows air simultaneously on A2Z, TV5, and Kapamilya Channel. The TV ratings for Kapamilya shows are the cumulated figures from these channels.
