The band’s popular line-up back in the ’90s returned onstage one more time.

On Saturday, February 17, legendary Filipino rock band Rivermaya took the stage at the SMDC Concert Grounds in Parañaque.

Rather than the group’s current line-up, fans were treated to the reunion of the band’s longtime drummer Marc Escueta with Rico Blanco, Bamboo, and Nathan Azarcon.

As previously announced, Perf de Castro did not participate in the said reunion concert.

The band performed a slate of their hit songs, which include the likes of ‘Hinahanap-hanap Kita,’ ‘Elesi,’ ‘214,’ ‘Himala,’ ‘Awit ng Kabataan,’ among others.

Notable attendees in the event are celebrities like Jolina Magdangal-Escueta, Maris Racal, Sarah Geronimo, among others.
