The couple is expecting their first baby.
On Wednesday, November 1, the respective agencies of actor Lee Seung Gi and actress Lee Da In shared a happy news about the couple.
According to Human Made, Seung Gi’s agency, “Lee Seung Gi is currently cautiously yet gratefully waiting for a new life to be born next year.” They added, “[w]e hope you will send warm blessings and support to Lee Seung Gi.”
As for Da In, her agency 9ato Entertainment stated that the actress is due to give birth in February 2024. “Currently, actress Lee Da In is preparing to welcome the blessing that will arrive in February of next year, prioritizing her health and stability.”
Seung Gi and Da In tied the knot on April 7, 2023. Their marriage happened almost two years since their relationship was first confirmed back in May 2021.
Lee Seung Gi first debuted as a singer, before eventually shifting gears to acting. As an actor, he has made starred in many dramas, including ‘My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho,’ ‘Shining Inheritance,’ ‘Hwayugi,’ and ‘Vagabond’. He is also set to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming Filipino movie ‘Ma’am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul’.
Lee Da In, meanwhile, began her stint in the showbiz industry in 2014. She has starred in series like ‘Hwarang,’ ‘My Golden Life,’ ‘Come and Hug Me,’ and currently appears as Kyung Eun-ae in the ongoing drama ‘My Dearest’. She is also the daughter of actress Kyeon Mi Ri, who is known for her portrayal of Lady Choi in the 2003 series ‘Jewel In The Palace’.
