The actor has been spotted anew in the metro.
On Monday, October 16, Canadian K-drama actor Ahn Hyo Seop made his return to the Philippines, a little over a week after his last.
Ahn is town, thanks to a Korean luxury eyewear brand. He is one of the artists that were invited to grace the pre-launch event of the said brand. The eyewear brand will open its store in the Philippines in Taguig City.
The said engagement is Hyo Seop’s second time in Manila just this month. Last October 8, he held his first-ever solo fanmeet in the country titled ‘The Present Show: here and now’ at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Ahn Hyo Seop first trained to become an idol under JYP Entertainment, and at one point, was considered to be a member of the project that later became GOT7.
However, he went the other direction and made his acting debut in 2015. In 2017, he starred in his first lead role in ‘Queen of the Ring’ and on the top-rating weekend drama ‘My Father is Strange.’
After which, his career breakthrough had officially begun when he starred in series ‘Still 17,’ ‘Abyss,’ and the second and third season of ‘Romantic Doctor’.
In 2022, his status as a leading man was further cemented when he portrayed Kang Tae Moo in ‘Business Proposal’.
His most recent is the Korean adaptation drama titled “A Time Called You” on Netflix, which gained immense attention when a boys love (BL) storyline between him and former SF9 member Rowoon was aired.
