Another “oppa” is in town.
Canadian Hallyu actor Ahn Hyo Seop is currently in Manila to meet his fans. Titled “The Present Show: here and now,” the fanmeet is part of Ahn’s ongoing tour across Asia.
The Manila event will happen today, October 8, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The show will start at 5:00 pm.
Ahn Hyo Seop had an interesting path to stardom. He first trained as an idol under JYP Entertainment, and at one point, was considered to be a member of what would become GOT7.
However, he went the other direction and became an actor instead. Ahn made his acting debut in 2015. In 2017, he starred in his first lead role in ‘Queen of the Ring’ and on the top-rating weekend drama ‘My Father is Strange.’
After which, his career breakthrough had officially begun when he starred in ‘Still 17,’ ‘Abyss,’ and the second season of ‘Romantic Doctor’.
In 2022, his status as a leading man was further cemented when he portrayed Kang Tae Moo in ‘Business Proposal’.
His most recent is the Korean adaptation drama titled “A Time Called You” on Netflix, which gained immense attention when a boys love (BL) storyline between him and Rowoon was aired.
