The singer will hold her first concert in the country later this evening.
On Wednesday, September 13, Indonesian singer-songwriter Nicole Zefanya, popularly known by her mononym NIKI, will perform in front of her Filipino fans.
The said concert will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. It is also part of her ongoing “Nicole World Tour” series. Notably, the concert tickets also sold out within hours of its release back in May.
After Manila, she is also set to perform at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Singapore, as well as her home country, in Jakarta, Indonesia later this month.
NIKI began her performing career in Indonesia when she was tapped to be the opening act of Taylor Swift during the American singer’s Red Tour stop in Jakarta back in 2014.
Years later, she signed up with 88rising and released extended plays “Zephyr,” and “Wanna Take This Downtown?” and studio albums “Moonchild.” Her latest release was her eponymous album “Nicole,” where the current world tour is rooted on.
Apart from those, she also sang the song “Every Summertime,” which was part of the original soundtrack for the Marvel film “Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings.”
