The action series made another record-breaking night.
According to television ratings provided by Nielsen National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), ABS-CBN’s primetime action drama ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ entered new territory on Tuesday, September 12.
This, as the Coco Martin-led series registered 16.9% viewership in NUTAM’s People Ratings chart. The episode trumped its rival program on GMA, ‘Maging Sino Ka Man’ starring Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, which recorded 11.9% that evening.
That percentage is also the highest figure for any ABS-CBN program since the May 5, 2020 shutdown. It surpassed the 16.7% recorded by the finale of another Coco Martin series, ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ on August 12, 2022.
It is also the second consecutive night that ‘Batang Quiapo’ had record-breaking ratings figure on TV. On Monday, September 11, ‘FPJBQ’ posted 15.9%, which trailed ‘MSKM’ by more than four percentage points as the GMA drama registered 11.4% on its debut telecast.
Online, ‘BQ’ also performs strongly. Via the Kapamilya Online Live platform of ABS-CBN, the drama recorded all-time high figures of 478.2 thousand concurrent viewers on Monday, September 11.
Currently, the story is about to enter its new phase, as teased in the five-minute mega trailer released last Friday, September 8. The likes of Jaclyn Jose, Soliman Cruz, Ivana Alawi, among others, have been added to the cast for this new storyline.
