Pepito and Elsa are in the house!
On Saturday, ‘Pepito Manaloto’ main actors Michael V. and Manilyn Reynes made their appearance on ABS-CBN noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’. The two were invited as Ogie Alcasid’s special guests for his 56th birthday celeberation in the show.
Both of them also have made their respective duets with Ogie Alcasid. Reynes sang ‘Pangako’ with Ogie, while ‘Bitoy’ performed ‘Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang’. At the end of the number, they went chorus for ‘Dito Sa Puso Ko’.
Manilyn and Ogie date back to their love team back in the late ’80s. They starred in multiple projects, with their most recent being the 2011 GMA series ‘Daldalita’.
Meanwhile, Ogie and Bitoy have been comedic partners in gag shows like ‘Tropang Trumpo’ on ABC 5 and ‘Bubble Gang’ on GMA 7. They also starred in movies like ‘Yaya and Angelina’ and ‘Boy Pick-up: The Movie’.
‘Toybits’ even shared an anecdote, they first met in rap contest on ‘Eat Bulaga’ where Ogie served as a judge, while Michael V. was a contestant — and he ultimately lost the contest.
