A new queen has been crowned.
During the coronation night event on Thursday evening, half Filipina and half Brazilian Nikki De Moura of Cagayan de Oro City was crowned as Miss Grand Philippines 2023.
She will be representing the Philippines in the Miss Grand International 2023 pageant that will take place in Vietnam this October.
Meanwhile, Michelle Arceo of Bagumbayan, Quezon City was named as our country’s bet for Reina Hispanoamericana 2023.
TV personality Herlene Nicole Budol, pride of Angono, Rizal, was awarded the title Miss Tourism World Philippines 2023.
Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2023 was then given to Francine Reyes of Tarlac.
The standalone Miss Grand Philippines 2023 pageant was organized by the ALV group of Antonio Vegafria.
This is also the first time that Miss Grand Philippines was held as a separate event, after being previously handled by Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) and its coronation held concurrently with the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night.
BPCI decided to not renew its franchise for Miss Grand in November 2022.
