An animal cruelty incident occurred at the SM City North EDSA mall in Quezon City. In a post on Facebook by the Animal Kingdom Foundation, the puppy was accompanied by “kids,” who were said to have been asked to leave the premises due to undisclosed reasons.

The post continued, detailing that a certain security guard for the establishment picked the puppy and threw it from the footbridge. “Worst, this act of violence was done in front of the owners who werw just kids,” the foundation also shared. YouTube terminates SMNI-linked channels anew

Through an observation on the video-sharing platform YouTube on Tuesday, it was confirmed that the site has terminated again the accounts of SMNI News, which had a username ‘@smninewsofficial’ and its program ‘Laban Kasama ng Bayan’. The fresh termination happens a few days after these new accounts were created to circumvent the initial deletion issued by YouTube versus the network owned by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

In its statement on the matter last weekend, Google — the parent company of YouTube — said that the deletion is in compliance with US Sanctions laws and their own terms of service. Quiboloy was given a sanction last year after a US court issued a warrant of arrest versus him for charges related to sex trafficking and bulk cash smuggling.

Apart from the channels, YouTube had already in the past shuttered the pastor’s personal and the Kingdom of Jesus Christ’s YouTube channels. TikTok had also cracked down on him, banning Quiboloy’s personal account last Monday, July 3.

Despite that, DZAR 1026, the radio station owned by SMNI, continues to be available on YouTube. SMNI TV, meanwhile, had also shifted to other platforms amidst the debacle.
