The local seismology issued an advisory today regarding the Taal Volcano
(JUNE 2, 2023) – In the advisory issued by the Philippine Institute on Volcanology and Seismology or PHIVOLCS this evening, the agency announced that they recorded “low-level activity” at Taal Volcano in Batangas. As such, they also reminded the public that the said volcano is still under Alert Level 1. Concurrently, the volcano island itself also remains off-limits.
