‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ wins big at the 95th Academy Awards

The Oscars awarding ceremony this year, thankfully, happened without any controversial moments like last year.

On March 12 (American time), the 95th Academy Awards was held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA.

This year, A24’s ‘Everything, Everywhere All at Once’ was a runaway winner, bagging seven of the 23 awards given out, including the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor (for Ke Huy Quan), Best Suporting Actress (for Jamie Lee Curtis), and Best Actress (for Michelle Yeoh) awards, among others. This also means the film won in most of the 11 categories where it received nominations.

Another big winner for the evening was Netflix’s German movie ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’. All Quiet surely made a loud impression by being hailed the Best International Feature Film, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, and Best Production Design.

Filipina actress Dolly de Leon was also present in the awarding ceremony as part of the cast of ‘Triangle of Sadness’, which received nominations for Best Picture, Best Director (Ruben Ostlund), and Best Original Screenplay.
