All-Out Sundays to be simulcasted on GTV beginning March 21 (posted March 16, 2021)

There are circulating rumors online that GTV will also carry All-Out Sundays beginning this Sunday, March 21, 2021. If ever, this would be the second entertainment show originating from channel 7 to simulcast on the channel after First Yaya.

GMA later confirmed the news via a teaser for the upcoming AOS episode this Sunday.

PTV apologizes for “erroneous” post made on Twitter (posted March 17, 2021)

The People’s Television Network has addressed the now deleted tweet carried the hashtag “#DutertePalpak” and screenshots spread rapidly on social media.

The network’s new media team has already posted their apology online after the “erroneous post” was made on PTV’s official Twitter account last night. The team blames autocorrection for the blunder and said that sanctions will also be given to the staff responsible.

ABS-CBN primetime shows to stream on WeTV iFlix (posted March 17, 2021)

ABS-CBN Entertainment and WeTV iFlix have forged a new partnership that will make the former’s primetime shows stream on the latter’s platform beginning March 20. Premium users of the streaming service would be able to watch shows 2 days ahead of their TV premiere.

I Heart Movies to begin test broadcasts on Monday (posted March 18, 2021)

The Kapuso network’s latest digital TV offering, I Heart Movies, is set to begin trial broadcasts on Monday, March 22. Official launch of the DTT channel is set to happen next month. It would also be GMA’s fifth DTV subchannel after Heart of Asia, Hallypop, DepEd TV, and GTV.

GTV officially renames news bulletin as “News Live”

GMA News TV, and later GTV’s hourly news bulletin “News TV Live” has been officially axed after 10 years. In its place will be the revival (of sorts) of GMA News Live from the yesteryears, “News Live”.
