The Philippines recorded today its highest daily increase of COVID-19 cases in the country, with 7,103 new cases, increasing the number of COVID-19 cases to 648,066 as of March 19, 2021. Positivity rate now also stands at 15%, nearing April 2020 levels. Recoveries now stands at 561,902 after 390 recoveries were reported. Meanwhile, death toll is now at 12,900 after 13 new mortalities were accounted.

On March 20, the Philippines’ Department of Health has released the latest data on the current COVID-19 situation in the country.
According to their latest stats, there are 7,999 new cases as of March 20, with over 80,000 active cases. That brings the country’s total COVID-19 cases to 656,056 cases, with 597 of that declared as newly recovered patients today. Meanwhile, 30 more people have reportedly died due to the disease.

The DOH has reported the second highest single-day increase of new cases since last year. Meanwhile, the recoveries reported today is the highest ever since November 1, 2020.

Today’s single-day tally is now the highest since the health crisis began last year. Active cases have also risen to more than 80,000 anew after dropping to 73,072 yesterday.
This is also the third time in just four days that the an all-time high record for new cases in the Philippines had been declared.

In the latest statistics released by the DOH, the Philippines logs its highest single-day tally of new cases today with 8,773 on record. Active cases have also risen to little less than 100,000 as of March 25, 2021.

The Philippines hits new records today. Firstly, the country records its highest ever single day tally with 9,838 new cases as of March 26. PH also breached the 700,000 total cases mark, while active cases also past the 100,000 mark for the first time.

For second straight day, the Philippines has recorded more than 9,000 new cases. The country has also surpassed the 710,000 total cases mark, with 712,442 C19 cases as of today. Active cases has also spiked up to 118,122, PH’s highest number since the health crisis began.
