TV5 reportedly in talks with ABS-CBN to carry some Kapamilya shows (posted January 21, 2021)
In a Philippine Star report, showbiz columnist Ricky Lo broke the news that the Kapatid network is in negotiation with ABS-CBN to carry Kapamilya shows on TV5. As of the moment, both networks remain mum on the issue.
Balitang Bicolandia set to launch tomorrow (posted January 31, 2021)
After five years without a separate newscast for the region, GMA is set to launch Balitang Bicolandia for the Bicol region tomorrow, February 1, 2021.
The launch marks the de facto revival of Baretang Bikol which was canceled in April 2015. The said newscast was ended as part of GMA’s decision to retrench and reformat kost of its regional stations as a relay of GMA 7 Manila.
Balitang Bicolandia will air on GMA’s Naga, Legazpi, Daet, Masbate, Sorsogon, and Catanduanes stations.
