Three Brightlight shows on TV5 fold today

The sun is setting for Brightlight Productions’ Sunday programs.

On January 16, 2021, Brightlight’s CEO Albee Benitez issued a statement to the press regarding the changes that would happen to his company’s blocktime lineup every Sunday. According to the company, Sunday Noontime Live and Sunday ‘Kada will air their respective “season-enders” today, January 17. The two programs air at 12 noon and 3:00 p. m., respectively.

Meanwhile, Sunday drama series I Got You, which broadcasted its finale last Sunday, will be reaired at 2:00 p. m. According to Brightlight, this is due to the insistent demand of the fans to have the finale episode repeated.

As of the moment, no replacements have been named yet for the three Sunday shows. Other Brightlight-produced programs airing between Monday and Saturday are still airing on their respective slots as usual.

Brightlight launched six programs on the Kapatid network’s programming grid in mid to late October last year. Most of the shows casted and employed retrenched ABS-CBN artists and staffs that were affected by the Kapamilya network’s franchise denial. Meanwhile, ABS-CBN, through Star Cinema, will be co-producing a new series with Brightlight Productions titled Love on da Move that would soon air on TV5.
