After almost a decade with GMA, Janine Gutierrez is now a certified Kapamilya.
On January 15, 2021, former Kapuso artist Janine Gutierrez officially signed with ABS-CBN as the network’s newest transferee. Gutierrez, a GMA artist for almost 10 years, is the granddaughter of Pilita Corrales and daughter of Lotlot de Leon with Corrales’ son Ramon Christopher Gutierrez.
The transfer of Janine Gutierrez to the network is notable for two things. For one, she was one of the most vocal artists from the Kamuning camp in support of the the Kapamilya network during the franchise renewal issue. On another hand, she is one of the firsts, if not the first, to transfer to ABS-CBN after the May 5 shutdown.
Currently, projects lined up for Gutierrez are not yet disclosed. But according to a report from PEP, she will be part of ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment unit.
While with her former home network, Janine made series like Victor Magtanggol, Dangwa, Dragon Lady, and Villa Quintana.
