It’s that time of the year again when Christmas is basically all over the place, including TV.
Filipinos have a longtime tradition of going to midnight masses known locally as Simbang Gabi or Misa de Gallo during the Christmas season. There’s also a belief that when one person completes all the nine masses, his/her wishes would come true. But with the COVID-19 pandemic still affecting the country, many are not able to go out and physically attend the masses.
Luckily, local television networks are going to air the yearly affair on their respective platforms and have since released the schedule of the nightly masses.
