SM does have tricks up its sleeves.
On September 21, SM Entertainment released the first trailer for the upcoming NCT 2020 project. Included in the video are scenes from the group’s units 127, Dream, and WayV and also highlights of NCT 2018. It also served as a look back on the milestones that they have achieved for the past four years.
But later in the day, SM Entertainment dropped huge surprise. They confirmed that from the current 21-member line up, NCT will also add two more for the upcoming Resonance: Part 1 era. The new members namely Shotaro and Sungchan are expected to be part of NCT U, the experimental brand of the group.
Alongside the huge announcement, SM has also given the scheduler for the upcoming era. The full album and the music video release for ‘Make a Wish’ will take place on October 12, with ‘From Home’ M/V being released the following week on the 19th.
