Eat Bulaga!’ temporarily suspends admission of live audience

As a precautionary measure, noontime variety show ‘Eat Bulaga’ airs today without live audience members. The show is broadcasting from APT Studios in Cainta, Rizal. The city has reported a COVID-19 case on Saturday.

In contrast, ABS-CBN’s noontime program “It’s Showtime” proceeds with its live broadcast today with studio audience present. Channel 2’s broadcast complex is located in Quezon City, which in turn only confirmed its first COVID-19 case earlier this morning.

Philippines records highest surge in COVID-19 cases since January 2020

The Philippines confirms 10 new people infected with the novel coronavirus today, bringing the country’s total to 20. Now, that is the highest daily surge in the number of confirmed COVID-19 patients since January 31.
